Bowdoin Street Health Center
Licensed and operated by Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, Bowdoin Street Health Center has been an integral part of the Dorchester community since 1973. Multilingual, multi-ethnic services include: pediatric and adult preventive and primary care, family practice, geriatrics, OB/GYN, physical therapy, optometry, mental health counseling, nutrition services and community health programs. The health center is very active in developing alliances with community-based organizations and local businesses that enhance the health status of area residents.
